Limited to: 25 Participants working or volunteering in non-profit organisations that deal with cross-border enquiries from the public. (Training is not available to commercial organisations or businesses.)
Aim:. To provide advisors and information providers from both sides of the border with an introduction to cross-border family benefits
Learning Outcomes Following this training session learners should be able to:
  • Outline the relevant benefits in Ireland and Northern Ireland
  • Outline how EU legislation impacts on claims for Family Benefits
  • Advise on which jurisdiction has priority responsibility
  • Identify and advise on critical issues for cross-border claims
