Training for 23 advisors took place in Monaghan on Wednesday 9 March 2016
The training focused on Cross-border Family Benefits and was attended by 23 advisors and information providers. The training programme was specifically designed by Border People to meet the needs of the advice sectors in both jurisdictions. It was jointly delivered by Border People and the Department of Social Protection (DSP), Child Benefit section. The contribution from DSP was invaluable and feedback from participants was excellent. All participants are keen to attend to future cross-border training programmes.
The participants were from Citizens Information Offices, CAB Offices, Constituent Advisors, MABS and Employers for Childcare.
